Greetings! Thank you so much for finding your way to my shop. So here you will find my philosophy and answers to some commonly asked questions. Let me know if you have any questions and I'll get right back to you.
A purchase is a partnership between seller and buyer. It benefits both of us to have clear expectations. Because of this I do my best to communicate what you should expect, and I invite you to do the same. Tell me what you are dreaming up, and I'll do my best to accommodate.
First and foremost, Please understand that the nature of a handmade product is that it does NOT look machine made. This DOES NOT MEAN that it will be poor quality, more prone to breakage or irregular, very simply, it is made with my hands through the interpretation of my artist's eye.
I hand create your gemstone and precious metal jewelry with my own two hands, without die cast bezels, machine made settings, or anything that is sold stock in a jewelry catalog.
All in Stock, READY TO SHIP items ship within 5 business days. I spend most of my time in my workshop as well as answering convos and doing administrative work. I ship 2 days a week depending on my studio schedule and how best to make use of my time. If you require something sooner, please contact me PRIOR to buying that ready to ship item to ensure I can help you with this.
In the US I offer free first class shipping with signature confirmation. Outside of the US I ship first class by default. I can not hand deliver your parcel however, so please be aware that shipping can take anywhere from a week to even 5 weeks. If you prefer to ship a different USPS method I'm happy to do that at your cost.
I do offer expedited shipping upon request- just let me know if you need your piece sooner. I will do my best to accommodate!
Refunds and Exchanges
I do not accept returns on custom made items. Each piece of jewelry I make is hand carved, cast, and the piece is created requiring hours of work and commitment of materials and labor. I do my absolute best to understand and note clearly the details within your custom listing.
Pieces that are Made to Order or re-sized after sale are NOT eligible for return, as they are considered custom.
Ready To Ship, unworn, unaltered pieces are returnable if I am contacted within 24 hours of your receiving your parcel. I charge a re-stocking fee of 10%.
***WARNING*** Repeated convos after the sale, changing stones, finishes, sizes, etc. gets very confusing. I am happy to answer any questions you may have, but PLEASE make sure you know what you want at the time of order.

Your special creation takes approximately 3 weeks to make. This is because there are a lot of people who ordered before you. Your piece won't be made until the day I begin working, usually 2.5 -3 weeks out, so convos asking "How's It going?" take me away from the workshop and make it even longer before I get to work on your sweet item! I know you are excited,, but please rest assured that I will mark your item shipped and send tracking info to your email as soon as there is progress to report. If we are at 3 weeks and you haven't heard from me? By all means, send me a message.
Did you order the wrong size? That's no problem, I can re-size your silver ring for 35.00 in silver, and 80.00 in gold. I fit this additional work in with my current workload and will finish it as soon as time allows.
A word about sizing:
If you were sized with a thin ring sizer bands 1.5 - 4mm wide fit true to size. Bands 5mm to 6.5 wide fit 1/4 size smaller. A band 7-8mm fits about 1/2 a size smaller, and in bands 9mm or larger, you would be most safe to go up one whole size.
When you have your finger sized at a jewelry store before ordering, there is a thin ring sizer and a wide band ring sizer. I need to know which was used as well as your size and I can go from there.

*Can I come for a visit?
Yes! I do have people stop by to take a look at my work up and personal :) Contact me for an appointment!
*If I send you a stone, will you make a ring for me?
At this time I do not work with customer's stones.
*How do you know that the gemstones you work with are real?
That is a great question :) I buy from reputable gemstone wholesalers who are affiliated with this trade, I'm a MJSA member and have worked in the trade for 6 years.There are many natural gemstones that are gently heated to improve color- sapphires, diamonds, rubies, and some that are treated to make a different color: Amethyst, blue topaz, etc...
* Can you send me photos of the stones you have so I can select one?
No. I don't have time to photograph and email photos, I need to be in the workshop making jewelry! That said, the gemstones I use are CLEARLY photographed in my ETSY shop, and you can expect to get a stone that looks just like the stones I have photographed. Because they are the same quality and tone I buy. I know it seems special seeing a line of gems, but I use calibrated faceted stones of the same lot and quality. They are pretty much identical :)
*I'm getting married tomorrow, can you make me a ring and overnight it?
I'm so sorry, as much as I'd like to, I have a full 3 week workload of people who have come before you, and I would hate to let them down.
If you DO find yourself having an emergency wedding, I may be able to make ring for you in my evening hours. This is time that I spend with my kids and husband, but if I can, I will let you know. I charge a rush charge that should be taken into consideration, as well as the cost of shipping overnight and handling- but If I can help you start out down a road of wedded bliss, I will!
