Aquamarine is the birthstone for March and a member of the Beryl family, along with emeralds and morganite. Each ring is crafted in 14k palladium white gold in the size requested at the time of purchase. A bit about palladium white gold: Palladium is in the same family as platinum and lends itself well to the gold- palladium white gold isn't nearly as yellow in tone, and doesn't require repeated rhodium plating to keep it looking white, instead of dull white/ yellow like 14k white gold often does. Additionally palladium gives the metal a richer gray/white hue and increased durability you want for a piece of this significance. It is slightly more expensive, but I choose to use it because I believe it is a higher quality alloy with a richer look and holds up very well over time.
